We are so glad you are here! This is the project website for the Cherokee County Comprehensive Plan update. The Comprehensive Plan will guide the future growth and development of Cherokee County. The Plan will include a thorough analysis of emerging trends and topics related to land use, development, transportation, utilities, and other factors which impact growth. The analysis, along with public input, will be utlized to develop a vision and recommendatons to guide the County’s growth in the coming years. As part of the process, the County will also examine how to implement zoning in the areas of economic growth within close proximity to the Interstate 85 corridor where significant public investments in infrastructure are being made. This website will serve as the home base for you to learn more about the planning process, review information, and find ways to stay involved.
